Managing & paying for your booking

You are permitted to have a maximum of two vehicles per booking (excluding some cabins) . If you require additional parking space please contact our reservation team with your full name & booking number. Additional parking fees apply.

Changes to your reservation may be possible, please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the period in which you have booked. If you have made your booking directly through our website or by calling our reservations team please  emailing [email protected] If you have made your reservation through a booking agent or partner website such as Expedia or Booking.com etc please contact them directly.

Please contact our team if you did not place your booking together. You will need to provide the full name and booking confirmation number for each booking. Our team does their best to accommodate groups together and we can place a request but it cannot be guaranteed.

Arriving

CHECK-IN

Check-in time is from 2pm. Our reception is open from 8.30am – 6.30pm (ESDT) and our friendly team will greet you during this time. Please be aware that your accommodation will not be ready before 2pm so if you arrive before 2pm you are welcome to enjoy all of our amazing facilities. If you are arriving after our reception hours please ensure you follow our late check-in procedure provided via email which requires you to complete an online check-in form for your reservation. We will then arrange your after hours arrival with you. You can also visit our Contact us page for more information.

CHECK-OUT

Check out is before 10am. Should you wish to depart prior to the reception opening, please leave your keys in our key return box located near the reception door. If you wish to delay your departure please contact our reception the morning of your departure as late-checkouts are subject to availability and can incur a fee.

All bookings are subject to one car space, unless otherwise specified. If you intend on bringing additional vehicles we only have limited onsite parking available which can incur a fee. If an additional vehicle will fit on your site parking fees also apply. Please ensure that you notify our reservation team of all vehicles and their registration number prior to your arrival. All park visitors are required to park in the visitors car park at the front of the reception.

You will need to have a valid photo ID such as a passport or driver’s license and a valid credit/debit card that matches the name on your reservation.

No, we do not place a holding deposit on your credit card.

Your Stay

Yes, we have free wifi across the resort, including sites, cabins and our pool area. Please note that due to our remote location our WIFI can be intermittent.

All accommodation is provided with hand soap and body soap.

We have a Camp Kitchen that is central to the park that includes an Alfresco & Indoor Cooking/ Dining Facilities & free BBQ’s. We provide limited cooking utensils and crockery, we do recommend bringing some of your own.

No motorised bikes, scooters or skateboards are to be ridden on the Resort. We allow use of Bicycles and scooters during daylight hours only. These items are not to be used in the resort’s main entrance/exit areas, amenity blocks, camp kitchen or inside the Pool Area. Racing and skidding are strictly prohibited. Guests should observe all road rules including wearing helmets and necessary protective gear. Children Must be supervised at all times.

Kids Activities

During School Holiday and peak period we provide an extensive Kids Club and entertainment program. The Schedule of these activities is provided to you on check-in. Please note that kids are to be supervised at all times.

Pools & Splash Parks

Our Pool area is open from 8am to 6pm daily (extended during Summer Months) The Splash park is operated via a push button which is located near the Wooli Wedgie Waterslide. As part of our Water Wise initiative this button will turn on the Splash Park for approx 10 minutes – If you want the Splash Park to continue to operate just push the button again! We have a strict no glass policy in the pool area and Splash Park.

We do have two new Solar Heater Pools in the Splash Park which are heated to 30 degrees celsius but this can fluctuate depending on the outside temperature. Both our Splash Park and Wooli Wedgie Waterslide are Solar heated year round; however keep in mind this is cycled water and they are still outdoors so it can be cold during the Winter months.

Solitary Islands Resort’s Pool Crew will be in the Splash Park during School Holidays only; however they are not lifeguards. Children must always be supervised by an adult at all times while in this area. Please follow all pool rules at all times to ensure safe use.

Pool towels are not provided. The towels provided in cabins are not to be used in the pools, at the beach or be taken from the resort.

Health & Safety

Due to the safety of our guests we conduct regular maintenance on our facilities and therefore we cannot guarantee that all facilities will be operating 12 months a year. The wellbeing of guests is our main priority and any facility closure  is at our discretion. We endeavor to provide reasonable notice on any works that are planned via our website and social media.

Resort Information

Our facilities including Kids Club, Pools & Splash Park and all other facilities located onsite are exclusive for all registered Guests staying at Solitary Islands Resort. Visitors are not permitted in any of these areas. All  guests staying at the resort will be issued with a guest identification wristband on arrival and must be wearing the wristband for entry into these areas. Visitors are welcome to join you by purchasing Day Visitors Passes for access to the pool area and use of the facilities or purchase tickets to activities . This is limited during peak school holiday periods. Visitors are classed as family or friends not registered to the booking, who are visiting for short periods of time and not staying overnight.

We have a strict noise curfew between 10pm and 8am. During this time noise is to be of low volume for the comfort of all guests and to prevent disturbing fellow holiday makers. Our resort and team will not tolerate drunk or disorderly, aggressive behavior of any nature. Call outs or damage to any other part of the property will incur a fee reflective of the damage to be repaired.

We have two guest laundry blocks located throughout the resort. One is located near the Pool Area & the other is at the northern side of the resort near the Dog Park. All machines are coin operated ($1 or $2 coins) & both Washing or Drying is currently $4 per load. There is 24hr access to the laundries but please visit our reception during office hours for coins or to purchase washing powder.

Yes, we love our furry friends and allow pets on all sites (outside of NSW/QLD School Holidays) and in our Pet-friendly Cabins. All Pets must meet our pet guidelines & be booked in with our reservation Team. Please visit our Pet Friendly link for more information.

The entire resort is wheelchair and pram friendly with easy access to facilities, ramps and buildings. We have a limited number of accessible rooms that can be viewed here.

Local Area

The nearest beach access is approx a 15 minute walk (1 km from resort) at OneTree Beach entrance. The Wooli Beach nearest the break wall (5 km  from the resort entrance) is patrolled with Lifeguards during the Summer months.
